The event is also an opportunity to test one’s mettle in the competitive world of dodgeball and bocce ball. Kids can even learn how to throw the atlatl spear.
In addition to its many festivities, the city is also home to the largest farmers’ market in the state. Each Saturday, hundreds of local vendors will make up the scene, ranging from fresh produce to baked goods. Throughout the day, visitors can also take in demonstrations of various crafts and craftsmen.
